Blogging is Making Anime and Gaming More Enjoyable!

Hello everyone and welcome to our place!

Today I want to discuss a little bit how blogging is making me to have even more fun while watching Anime or playing videogames. To be honest, one of my fears when I started was that it would take the fun of my biggest source of entertainment. I’m happy to say that wasn’t the case.

Let’s start with Anime, shall we?

Thank god!

The biggest fear I had when I started was that I would begin to overanalyse everything I would watch so I could get the juice to write about it. This way, from the beginning, I said to me that I would not do that. My reviews would be by someone who would watch an Anime without thinking about writing a thesis about it.

In the end, that’s what you get from my reviews. A biased, personal review where I speak about what I felt from the Anime. Even though I always go thought plot, characters, animation and music, it’s always written by someone who watched the Anime in not a 100% focused kind of way. I don’t have a notebook to add notes to my reviews, neither I go and search for different things about the Anime. I do this because I never did that when I only watched Anime. To be honest, I don’t think most of the viewers (non-bloggers) would do that.

However, people seem to like it nonetheless and I usually get some comments on my reviews, which made me enjoy even more watching Anime. Now I know there will be some people who I will enter discussions with. Some people will agree, others won’t. And that’s where the fun part is! I learnt a lot in these 8 months of blogging because of you and it has been a really fun ride.

I just started to be more active on Twitter in the last few weeks and let me tell you, it made my experience with Anime even more fun. Nowadays, when I’m watching an Anime episode I’m always checking for a nice printscreen, part of videos and things like that to tweet about.

What I discovered was – I have more fun while watching the episode. I laugh way more, I comment way more and I end up way more immersed in what I’m watching. Here’s an example. I’m watching Free! at the moment and as you know, when someone is swimming, the others will be rooting for them like: “Ikke ikke ikke ikke Haruka”. Well, guess what? Now I always scream with them! It makes the activity way more enjoyable.

But, what does that have to do with social media? Well, you probably will see in my feed today commenting about that with a clip with someone rooting. If I wasn’t thinking about that I would just pass this part and not even make a noise. Now, because of blogging, I end up letting me go way more with whatever I’m watching and have fun with it.

Horrible Anime Quest

Oh no! She’s retarded 😦

Yeah, there was only one post about this. However, it was one of the more enjoyable posts to write in this blog. I started with Dynamic Chord, but you can be sure that there will be more to come out sooner or later! 😀

I never thought this would be so much fun, to be honest. It’s true that in this case I have to overanalyze the Anime and do a fact check to make sure I create plausible goals and changes for the said Anime. But, who would guess that watching an Anime, knowing that it will be horrible, carefully and coming out ideas to make it bearable would increase the enjoyment of watching it so much? 😀

Of course this is how I picure us discussing games!

As with Anime, I’ve been able to discuss and learn a lot about gaming because of blogging which has been a lot of fun!

However, contrary to Anime, I know analyze the games a little more. But, in this case, it makes the game even funnier. I try to look for hidden gems. I really stop and look to the environment around me to have something to say. I get more attached to the characters since I want to clearly understand their development and so on. This way, analyzing it more made the game experience way more enjoyable!

This Month On PS4 Plus Free Games

These series are also a new add to my blog and I’ve only written once for July. Well, of course I always saw wich games where in the PS4 Plus and downloaded the ones which interested me. However, what would happen was them to be in my library forever without me actually playing them. I mean, I have a backlog so huge on games that I will be old when I’ll be able to play all of them.

However, everything changed when I started these series. I download and I actually play the games right away. Yeah, it’s only for an hour, I know. However, this already made me try completely different games that I would never play if I didn’t had this series running. Are all of them good? No! Do I like all of them? No! Nevertheless, at least I give them a try and end up having a lot of fun trying all of these different games eheh

Should I Play X Game in 2018?

Although this series are a little asleep at the moment, I’m having a lot of fun with it! It brings me to those older games which I loved when I was younger and remember all of them! It’s been nostalgic and I love it! Moreover, it’s fun to think of them and bring them to the lights of 2018 gameplay and think if they would still be good to play or not 😀

– Conclusion –

I’m really happy that blogging brought even more fun into my entertainment media. Of course, blogging brought me a lot of joy throughout these past months. I met a lot of awesome people and made many connections which I consider friends. This is also something I wasn’t expecting. But, this time I wanted to focus on the entertainment part of it!
