Arthis’ Book (Which Has No Title Yet) Introduction

Hello everyone and welcome to our place!

Today is the day! It’s the day I’ll be sharing with you the intro to my book! I think it’s a good way to show you the setting of it and get a sense about the story 🙂

But, before we get into it, I want to say a few things:

First, I still don’t know how am I going to do this on the operational side, but probably I will do this in an e-book kind of form. The idea is not for you to read this in one way, but to download and read it on your terms. I mean, it’s a book, not a blog post.

Second, since it’s a book and not a blog post, don’t expect pics/gifs! I will try to make my boyfriend to draw an image for the beginning of each chapter. However, there may have some months that won’t be possible even to have one image.

Third, I want to thank, yet again, the amazing Biblionyan for taking the job of being the editor of this book! It just amazes me how sweet she was in taking time from her busy life to do this! I ❤ you! I ❤ you a lot! Guys don’t forget to give her a follow!!!!

Last, a HUGE disclaimer! The main character, although called Arthifis, do not, in any way represent my life (or anyone’s life for that matter)! Yes, there will be some things inspired in what I lived, but, in no kind of away I’m marrying next week or my love life compares to this character 😛

– Introduction –

Hello everyone! My name is Arthifis (you can call me Arthis for short), I’m 30 years old and I’m getting married next week! Yeah, you heard that right! I couldn’t be more excited! It has been crazy, but I finally met the love of my life and it’s time to tie the knot!

However, this made me think a lot about my path until here. It was no easy path whatsoever. Many broken hearts, being mine one of the included of course. In fact, mine was broken many, many times until I got to this point in life.

But, I think everything happens for a reason and, in fact, if not for all these missteps I would never get to the happy place I am now. This way, I decided to go and just write everything up in this book. Remembering is also living and I hold dear to my heart this path of mine. Moreover, who knows, you may even learn a thing or two about my experiences and not perform the same mistakes. Or you may just read it as a novel, I mean, this would do a great romance book, now that I think about it.

But, first and foremost, let me just go and say I’m gay. Not that it’s important, to be honest. However, there will be some feelings that I’m pretty sure that will speak more to someone from the LGBTQ+ community than a straight person. All the doubt, the fear and so on.

Nevertheless, even if it doesn’t feel any kind of relatable, it’s always a good story to read… I hope! Well, at least I will try my best!

And I think that’s a good introduction for this book, right? There are many things that you will learn about me. However, I prefer that you find those out by yourself while following my story than just bluntly put it in a few words! Character building or so they say…

So, here we go! Hope you will have as much fun reading this as I did write it up! The story (and this book) starts from the beginning, my teenager and Highschool days.
