The guide is very cool.
And what is with the text justifying (or lack of it) in the new editor. That and the scheduler are my two biggest issues with the new one. Otherwise, I actually am finding I quite like it now that I’ve figured out where things are and have set up some reusable blocks so I’m not reinventing formatting over and over again. Hopefully they can fix the remaining issues because the basic idea of the new editor actually works quite well.

Thank you eheh 😊
Well, basically with the blocks you can only do right, left, or center justification. I prefer to use justified text since the area of my writing is limited on the blog and if it’s left centered it just all becomes a mess.
I had to enter in the wp-admin and do it the old fashioned way.
But yeah I think that I will need to spend some time playing with it and understand how it works… But I have to say that my first contact with it was a mess xs

I’m thinking next Friday of doing an impressions of the new editor because there are some things I’m loving and some things that have already driven me crazy (okay, I may or may not have shouted at my keyboard while preparing a post yesterday). Still, I’m continuing to play with it because like anything new, sometimes things that seem like they are a big deal kind of cease to bother you once you get used to them, and other times they just annoy you more. So playing a lot and seeing what happens. Just hoping someone tells me if my posts go bonkers in the meantime.

Thank god that I’m with more times on my hands right now because I really want to read that!
Ahahah I know the feeling, it was the same thing it happened to me while writing this post! I actually got pretty mad LOL
And yes, I’m with you, I’m gonna to continue trying out and learning the best way to work with it. However, probably for now I’ll use the wp-admin to write the posts… If I’m writing and then I have to be thinking about the blocks my creativity will just go out of the window lolol

Frankly, the new editor is terminally broken for me. You can no longer insert images at arbitrary places – instead you have to move text between text blocks to create a place to put an image block. Basically, they took the paradigm that word processors have used for decades and threw it away.
Basically, if your workflow is based on templates and flexibility (as mine is), you’re screwed.

Yeah, flexibility is super important for me too, so I’m not sure if it’s going to work for me 😕 basically they went with how wish builds websites (I think) but things don’t seem to be ok. I can’t even change my headings color without using html lolol maybe it’s because I still haven’t played with it enough. I just know that something that should have took 15 minutes writing took me an hour

Reblogged this on Raistlin0903 and commented:
We all have posts that we are very excited about when you work on them. You poor your blood, sweat and tears into them, and then the moment comes when you are ready to publish it. You push the button, and with a pounding heart you await the response from the community. Sometimes though, that excitement turns to shock, or maybe even a bit of sadness, when it’s not getting the response you had hoped for. There can be very good reasons for it though. We are all very busy people, and the reader can be overwhelming and posts are hard to miss. Yesterday the amazing Arthifis pubished something that he worked on for three weeks. He is very proud of it, and I can’t say that I blame him. However some of you might have missed it. That’s why I just had to reblog this and shed a little light on it. With so many seasonal anime to choose from, we can all get overwhelmed and might even miss out on some shows that are really worth checking out. This ultimate guide will help you with that. Do check this out, and show some love on Arthifis’ blog. He is an amazing writer, and he worked hard on this. Give him the credit that it deserves! 😊😊

Really awesome content you have there, I wish I had this before so I could have watched so many good and unknown animes!
Are you planing to release more of these in the future? Would you accept something in return of it? Honestly, I think you should charge for something like that, it’s so much work… I know I would pay!
Hope to see more of these in the future.

Thank you Jhon! I’m really happy you liked it eheh 🙂 Yeah, it came out terrible late this season! That’s what happens when you get these kind of ideas when the season already started ahah
Yes, I will try to release one every single season 🙂 I will also try to watch the Anime from day one and do the First Impressions right afteward episode 3 is out. Like you said, the idea is for everyone to have an idea in what to watch that season and for that, it needs to come out early 😀
When it comes to charging. Well, I’m still thinking about it xD It’s one of those things that I’m not sure what am I gonna do ahah. For now, I will let this one go for free and if anyone wants to support me they can do through buying me a ko-fi at ko-fi.com/arthifis
Thank you so much for this comment! You just made my day… Heck, you probably made my week! I can’t express how thankful I am to you wanting to spend your hard earned money in something I created 🙂

Can’t believe I missed this while I was furiously writing papers, and only saw it on Cactus Matt’s blog earlier! Truly amazing stuff. Must have taken a crazy long time to make, but if you’re ever up for making more, i’d be sure to read all of those!

ahahah It happens 😀 Yeah, it took me 3 full weeks of not doing anything more than the guide xD
Don’t worry, my idea is to do it next season too! The difference, I’ll try it to release it at the beginning of the season instead in the middle of it this time eheh
Thank you for liking it eheh

Woah!!! Arthifis, it’s amazing!! I am so impressed and it’s so handy and useful. That must have taken a lot of time to do, so props to you. I hope many, many people will see it. I’ll share on Twitter! No wonder you weren’t very active on the blog for a few weeks… It all makes sense now! Will you be making more of these guides for future seasons?

Thank you Rose! Glad you liked it ^^ Yeah, it took me 3 full weeks to watch everything and write the reviews eheh
Oh, thank you so much for spreading the word eheh I really hope that the guide gets the most love it can 😀 Not because I did it, just because I think it’s really a nice thing to have.
Yeah, I will! As I said, I had a lot, but a LOT of fun doing it, so next season I’ll be doing it again 🙂 However, contrary to this season, I’m gonna start it right in the beginning so I’m able to post it right in the beginning of the season 🙂
